Programming and AI can turn curiosity into something useful. My courses help young students build a programming mindset and non-technical learners take an idea through to a launched product.
Build programming foundations and prepare for youth informatics competitions, or take an idea through design, development and launch with AI. Both courses put understanding and practice first.
01
FOR STUDENTS AGED 12+
Programming Mindset
Build a programming mindset through hands-on projects and prepare to take part in youth informatics competitions.
A beginner-friendly foundation in logical thinking, algorithms and programming for students aged 12+. Build small projects, then move through level-appropriate practice problems and timed exercises to prepare for youth informatics competitions.
What you’ll explore
Read a problem, break it into steps, spot patterns and choose a solution.
Use variables, conditions, loops and functions to turn a plan into code.
Test typical and edge cases, find bugs, then explain and improve your solution.
Practise level-appropriate competition-style problems, timed exercises and review.
A project to try
Build a small game, quiz or tool, and solve a set of practice problems step by step.
02
FOR NON-TECHNICAL STUDENTS
Building Product
Take an idea from concept to a complete, usable product with help from AI.
A practical course for non-technical learners to build a website or web app from start to launch. Learn to validate a user problem, choose core features, guide AI coding tools, test the whole experience and improve it after people use it.
What you’ll explore
Validate a real user problem, define your audience and choose core features.
Map user journeys, design the interface and plan the data your product needs.
Build with AI in small steps, test complete flows and check privacy and security basics.
Publish online, connect a domain when appropriate, gather feedback and plan improvements.
A project to try
A complete, usable website or web app with its core features, published online for real users.
Get in touch to discuss suitability, course format, upcoming dates and fees. Parents and guardians are welcome to enquire for young learners.
HOW I TEACH
Build understanding alongside skills.
My approach brings together teaching and research experience with hands-on work building business software.
01
Understand the thinking
Ask why a solution works. Build the confidence to explain your choices, whether you write the code or work with AI.
02
Learn by making
Work through small examples, try your own ideas and turn what you learn into something you can use.
03
Test and improve
Treat mistakes as part of learning. Check the result, ask better questions and keep refining your work.
Your next step starts with a question.
Tell me who’s learning, what interests them and what they’d like to create. We can explore the right starting point together.
